Church Mission Statement
The Church is that collection of Christians, joined together in a covenant relationship with God through Christian baptism and empowered by the Holy Spirit. We are those mortal beings built into a spiritual house on the foundation rock of Jesus Christ; joined by love, caring for each other, and actively involved in a local community of saints. The Church, that body of all peoples, is God’s instrument on earth to proclaim the gospel, the good news, and do good works that God has prepared for us, and Jesus authorized (or) did as example. God has called the Church to witness His plan of redemption to all people, all nations, all humanity on earth. We are called to proclaim and teach to a lost world how to achieve salvation and live as a member of the kingdom. God has called us to minister to our neighbors, the poor, and those in need by being a servant to all and serving as examples of discipleship to the world.
Based upon the following scripture: Jeremiah 31:31, 33-34; Ezekial 11:19-20; Matthew 16:17-19; Ephesians 3:14-21; 4:11-16; Hebrews 10:23-25; I Peter 2:4-5, 9-10, 17; Colossians 1:28-29; Galatians 6:10.
